Very average pub. Customer service was poor and staff were not friendly. Only one chef for a large pub for lunch service is not enough. We had rotten tomato in a salad and received scallops the size of a pea, we were so shocked we were speechless. $15 for 4 pea size scallops is a joke. The rest of the meals were edible but not great. Chips were terrible. Wine menu is terrible unless you like cheap and awful tasting wine. Also wine on the menu was not available. The only positive about this pub is the location. I won’t be back, it’s a shame because the location is great. I have been to many ALH Group pubs and they have been great, there is always one bad apple and this pub is it. There were visible maintenance issues that have not been addressed with the ceiling. A change in management is needed to implement a major overhaul of training, procedures, quality control and staff moral.

The chef on getting the order should have given us an option , not just try and slip it through. Apologies were given but no discount on meal or offer off something else. Lovely spot but need to lift their act on professionalism !!!

From my understanding when an advertisment states kids eat free on Sundays, it should mean kids eat free no matter what menu you order from.

I was told that the only time that kids eat free on Sundays is when an adult meal is ordered from the main menu.

It's a mis-leading advert. If kids are to eat free it should say on the menu that kids eat free when ordering from the main meal menu.

Very disappointing tonight. Booked a table and our friend over here from scotland was looking forward to the prawn and bug linguine. Paid $ 34.00 each for and received only a prawn linguines and there answer was that they had run out of bugs and had given us extra prawns. Really !!!

Not complaining, as we only had lunch on Sunday it said on the kids menu kids eat free on Sundays t&c apply. How many people know what t&c apply actually mean as I didn't know what it meant!
