  Update: We returned again last night, exactly one year after our first visit, we selected the same meal, the 10 course, 15 tasting degustation. It was as superb as we expected! There have been a few changes to the menu and they don't disappoint. There is a huge wine, beer and cocktail menu and we sampled as many as we could. Don't go past the Japanese Sake selections, some of them are truly amazing.

  A sublime experience... My partner and I had the top-tier Dégustation: the freshness of produce, intricacies of flavours & presentation of dishes was all perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant.

  A 6 STAR option is needed for these guys and girls. This place is a great combination of taste and atmosphere. As first timers to Japanese Cuisine we were blown away, the 10 Course Degustation was our choice and we weren't left disappointed or hungry by the end, the meal ran over the course of 2 hours and we were amazed at the level of skill from the open kitchen and from the wait staff who described everything that was served and the best way to eat it. The price was fairly moderate, and I've paid a lot more at similar style venues, but $110 total cost per head here was well worth it for amazing quality food, a cocktail and some sake also...

  This was our second visit so we knew what to expect and it did not disappoint. From the wine through to desert we got thoroughly spoilt and that's what we go out to dinner for.
